I finally gave a presentation I can share with the world. The last couple of years have been filled with presenting asking for investment or presenting internal Yahoo! analytical gobbly goop, so it was nice to present on something that’s just a personal interest of mine.
I gave a talk on using social media at the Ecole Hoteliere Lausanne (Lausanne Hotel School)’s Forum 2010to an audience that was filled with Hotel professionals, students and staff. It was a really good event with some interesting discussions, check out the Forum website for the other speakers and the projects/companies they represent.
I talked about how trust, transparency, tools and benefits are the keys to successful social media. There’s some personal stories that I share that I won’t go into detail on the blog, but buy me a pint and I’ll be happy to share the tid bits.
