Midem does this, and its a great way for startups to get some one-on-one advice from an experienced startup founder, marketing guru, VC/angel etc. The mentors volunteer for a block of 1/2 hour sessions, and people get some quality meet-time. I also really think some separate breakouts on how to pitch/how to contact VCs/angels would be incredibly useful for new startups...there is a lot of content about this on blogs etc. but hearing it straight from Dave McClure, Saul Klein or other folks who are there to judge the startup competition anyway would be incredibly useful.
